About This Quote

I know that I am an incredibly open person. I am more than willing to share my thoughts and feelings with anyone who will listen. However, I have learned over time that there are certain things about myself that I feel are best kept to myself. People are more than happy to share what is in their soul with someone they trust, but when it comes to the very most important parts of themselves they find it most difficult to say.

I think that is because people are most afraid of what others will think about them once they know the truth. People are waiting for just that, secrets. It’s not until you expose your deepest darkest secrets to someone else that you realize how far you really are willing to go for them.
